Plot:
The war between vampires and werewolves rages in 1202. Marcus, vampire leader, find a village that the werewolves had
slaughtered... The vampires are searching for the Lykan leader, his brother, William. William is caught. However, Viktor
wants William imprisoned forever...
Selene explains what happened in the first movie.

She must awaken Marcus, the elder, before Kraven kills him.
Other vampires try to awaken Marcus who's mutated and dispatches with them including Kraven.
Vampire coven starts to investigate why Marcus destroyed his own coven.
Michael who's been staying with Selene stays at a hideout while she's gone. He heads out to a bar. Unfortunately, a news report
announces a
number of recent murders are connected with Michael.
Need to go to a dentist to get me teeth fixed.
He starts powering up into his vampire-werewolf hybrid form running from the cops chasing him.
Selene finds that Michael is gone. Thankfully, she finds him nearby and starts kung fuing the cops. However, the bat-winged Marcus flies
up and lets the vampire-fight-fu ensue. Marcus is searching for a amulet. Michael and Selene drive off in a truck.
Breaker, breaker, we got a big old convoy...
Micheal is able to lose Marcus before the approaching dawn.
They hide up in a garage for the upcoming day as Michael blacks out the windows for Selene. So let the lovin' ensue.
The vampire strikeforce search the hideout and sntize it by blowing it up...
Selene remembers about the amulet. They need to find Tannis, a vampire historian, who Selene exiled centuries ago. At the monastery, Selene gets separated from Michael. Both of them have to fight some Lykans.

Eventually, she finds Tannis who explains the vampire creation. Marcus was the first vampire and how created the other elders. William was the first
Lykan however he couldn't revert back to human form. Selene learns that her father built William's prison which is part of why her family was killed centuries ago. The amulet is part of the key that can free William.
Later, Tannis is questioned by Marcus who reads his mind about the keys.
Selene and Michael are sent to meet Lorenz McCaro, the head of the vampire coven that has been searching what's going on this movie.

It's revealed that Lorenz is actually Alexander Corvinus, Marcus' faher. He doesn't believe that Marcus is quite as bad even if he's that
crazy.
Marcus reaches his father's fortress and mortally wounds Michael and brain scans Selene to find the location of William's prison. Marcus pays a
visit on his dear old dad for the other key by mortally wounding him before leaving.
The dying Corvinus has Selene drink his blood so some of the elder blood will continue. Selene and the vampire strikeforce take Michael with them
before Corvinus blows up the fortress.
Marcus searches the castle for the hidden prison cell and finally frees his wolfen brother from the Iron Maiden cell.
Selene and troops enter through the river entrance. Unfortunately, Marcus and William attack them. Elsewhere, the body of Michael comes back to
life...
A crack commando unit is hunting down those that think Kate Beckinsale isn't an action star.
Let the dual pistol-fu Kate Beckinsale ensue. Unfortunately, she has to contend with the Lykan bit vampire strikeforce who've become werewolves.
Hybrid Michael joins the fray and battles William. The blue-ragefilled hybrid Michael pulls Williams wolfy jaw out.
Marcus pulls the copter down.
Final showdown...
Marcus versus Selene... Let the sword and wire fu ensue. Unfortunately, she gets stabbed by Marcus. However, she is still able to stab him and
push him into the copter blade which slices and dices quite effectively.
As the sun rises, Selene realizes the light isn't burning her and Michael and Kate embrace.
