Plot:

A couple stops by Hull House and are greeted by Angela, wearing a black wedding dress. In the house, she stabs both of them to death.

Well at the private Catholic coed high school, some guys are using their binoculars at the numerous uber-hot naked chicks that are in various states of address in their dorm across campus.

Teri tells the other girls about Hull House and how all the bodies were all found and identified except Angela.

"And on the side mirror was a bloody hook..."
Later, Melissa has a nightmare about Angela, her sister.

Father Bob has Sister Gloria to bring the teens more involved in the Halloween school dance.

Melissa had to move into the school after her parents committed suicide after getting a card supposedly from Angela.

Father Bob’s class, he discusses about Hull House with Perry who is obsessed with demons. The other guys mock Perry who wants to prove the existence of demons.

Kurt, Johnny, Shirley, and Teri are fooling around on the tennis court. Sister Gloria grounds them to the dorms. No school dance.

In the church sacristy, Perry begins to document his experiment before beginning. Let the chanting ensue, Angela almost grabs and drags him through a mirror. Father Bob catches and ground him to the dorms, too.

Kurt and Shirley start to gropin’. She plans to have a party off campus.

Shirley, Bibi, Teri get the party started. Shirley even wants Melissa to come. The girls calm Melissa down. Shirley’s sleazy boyfriend, Rick drives them all to Hull House.

"You think a marshmellow flavored Pepsi would go over?"

Bibi finds a lipstick tube. In a bedroom with a 4 poster bed, let the lovin’ ensue for Johnny and Bibi.

Melissa is in the car praying when a guy in a wolf mask scares her into the house. It turns out the guy is Rick’s friend, Z-boy.

Bibi and Johnny are still porkin’.

Kurt and Teri rush to the front room, hearing Melissa scream. They find Shirley, Rick, Z-boy have Melissa tied to an altar. Shirley starts chanting from Perry’s book. Kurt keeps Shirley from stabbing Melissa and learns the knife is a fake.

Rick, Shirley, Johnny, Bibi, Kurt, Teri, and Melissa drive back to the school.

At the school dance, Perry tells Sister Gloria how the kids went to Hull House.

Shirley gets the lipstick case from Bibi.

Sister Gloria finds the girls’ dorm empty.

Everyone gets back to the school.

Father Bob calls the police. He doubts Perry’s ideas.

The kids get to the school dance which has been hipper since the chaperones are gone. Melissa heads back to the dorm.

Elsewhere, Shirley tries the lipstick. Lipstick tentacle ensues. Bad hentai violation. Angela appears. Sapphic spit swappin’.

Back at the dance, Angela does her table dance.

"Rarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, I'm scary!!!!!!!!! I mean it you guys..."
Everyone seems mesmerized. Shirley does a dance, too. Let the gyrating, Rick tries to cop a feel from Shirley. However, her tig ole biddies turn into hands and burn Rick’s hands? She then breaks his neck.

The demonized Teri chases after Bibi when Sister Gloria is able to depossess Teri with Holy Water.

Looking for Melissa, they find that Angela has taken her away to Hull House.

Father Bob thinks that Perry’s a few "Hail Mary's" shy of a load. Perry’s going to save Melissa. Father Bob will go with the others to prove that Hull House is a myth.

Arriving, they split into groups: Father Bob and Perry, and Sister Gloria, Bibi, and Johnny. The threesome gets separated. Angela knocks Johnny out.

With the other group, Z-Boy kills Father Bob. Perry has to resort to water gun packed with Holy Water on the demonized Z-Boy. He has to contend with Rick and survives. Spotting Angela, he decides that cowardice is far better part of valor.

Johnny discovers the demonized Kurt who’s playing basketball with his own severed head. Perry manages to water balloon Kurt.

Demon Rick hits Perry in the head with a spiked ball bat. Johnny finishes the demon off. The dying Perry is sure that Angela is planning to sacrifice Melissa.

Angela offers to let Johnny, Bibi, and Melissa go if Sister Gloria becomes the sacrifice. Taking the place on the altar, Angela hands the dagger to Melissa to complete the ceremony. Melissa injects her demonic sister with a sharp metallic object. Sister Gloria caps Angela with the Holy Water super soaker.

Sister Gloria, Melissa, Bibi, and Johnny are trying to get out of the house. The demonized snake version of Angela chases them. Johnny breaks a window to let the sunlight into the room. The sunlight starts burning Angela before she explodes.

Our heroes head off and get back to the school. It is over when some random girl finds the lipstick case. Cue the tentacle lipstick monster and end credits.

What I say:

Roundtable for Halloween? After the ninjalicius tribute to the Blob's family near and far last month, the lesson hasn't been learned. So once more unto the breach or flossing with bleach or not sitting on any kind of leech. Getting even more rambling at the beginning...I'm in my happy place, things are better...I'm focused now...With doing a roundtable, with far more entertaining reviews from far more talented reviewers than I but my ten of fans please finish this review first.

What movie is set during Halloween? Besides the obvious ones..*cough*Halloween*cough* It took some time to come up with some suitable candidates. However, they've already been done like Trick or Treat and far more ninjaliscious than I are tackling them now. While scavenging through one of my piles of movies, came across an old VHS tape. So Night of the Demons 2 got to be my choice. I kept getting the feeling had I seen the original Night of the Demons that I wouldn't like this one as much. Though, the first one seems to have divided many 80s horror fans.

Never seen a ruler wielded so expertly like a samurai's katana. Ninja Nun, ought to be travelling the world with Father MacGruder from Dead Alive battling the forces of darkness. The Holy Order of Kicking Demonic Glueteus Maxima does have a nice ring to it. Holy Water ballooons was done before in the Lost Boys.

This movie may have been made in 1994. However, its spirit came from the 80s, totally fer sure. Not its fashion sense, but the whole 80s character vibe. Nothing quite like Return of the Living Dead, which had new wave guy, punk, death obsessed goth girl (Linnea), etc...Granted, it didn't quite have all the slasher rules from Friday the 13th. Character wise, Night of the Demons 2 had all teh stereotypical horror movie archtypes. We have the nerd researching things best left alone, the rebel chick who loves her cigarettes, the couple who bump uglies, and all the other stereotypical characterts found in this type of movie.

My big complaint is how hard it was to keep track of all the characters. If you noticed the girls, each had a different hair color to keep them identifable. Teri -blonde. Bibi-red. Shirley-black. However, there were 4 main girls and 4 guys, that's not counting Ninja Nun, demonic research boy, etc...That is guite a few characters to keep straight. For this kind of movie it was quite a large main cast.

After watching numerous b-movies, you start to pick up connections like how so and so starred in several movies. Think of it as maybe the character actor version of "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" probably be "Six Degrees of Dick Miller." If you know who Dick Miller is, we accept you Gobba-Gobba we accept you...However, in this case, certain directors pop up again and again. Brian Trenchard-Smith, the name doesn't ring a bell. However, a look at IMDB gives him more familiarity like Dead-End Drive-In and Nicole Kidman's memorable performance in bike-tastic BMX Bandits. He has popped up directing other classics such as Atomic Dog and Leprechaun 3 and Leprechaun 4. Anyone who got to direct a leprechauned version of a homicidal Warrick Davis deserves much respect.

Christine Taylor was Teri. Though her blondeness, don't hold that against her haughtness. I kept getting a feeling she looked familiar. Eventually, it clicked. She was in the Brady Bunch movies from the 90s, to more current movies like Dodgeball and Zoolander. Whether she was known about getting the role of Marcia Brady on this set or not, there was a disposable line where someone called her Marcia Brady...So would that just be disposable or truly prophetic line?

Point to Ponder:

The troubled high school kids that party at the local haunted house and must contend with a demon. That would have made such a truly excellent afterschool special.

Quotable Dialogue

"En Garde!!!"
"Have you ever been vaccinated for Malaria?"
"Ladies, call me king snake."
"This is Flintstone's Classic Top 10."
"Zip it, LAME-O!"
"I stole the best I could."
"Who needs a cat when you've got a virgin?"
"There's a fine line between vigiliance and paranoia."
"My name is Melissa!"
