What I say:

Most movies shot in 7 days seem to be short 65 minutes long. This is definitely something that would be half on a double feature flick... Think it can be said that Roger Corman's American International Picture (AIP) has never been thought as making epic movies. Night of the Blood Beastseemed to have taken from plenty of other 1950s sci-fi movies: It! The Terror From Beyond Space and Thing From Another World. Well, a movie that seemed to have taken a number of things from other movies would never have been allowed in Roger Corman's production company...OK, if the sarcasm wasn't detected on that, you better get your IPAD fixed with some sort of app...

Certain movie genres at certain times have certain locations. Godzilla is best thought of as at Japan. Well, John Ford had Westerns like Searchers had those incredibly super-iconic locations. Sci-fi movies had the Spielberg Close Encounters of a Third Kind at Devil's Tower. The low budget 1950s sci=fi had Bronson Canyon.

The so-called Blood Beast doesn't look as ridiculous as Brainiac. However, half a wet suit would be some improvement. Be the alien with a diving helmet

1950s alien are always trying to conquer Earth and enslave humanity for labor and lunch. Astronaut carrying alien embroyos had to be fairly wild in 1950 movies. Well, Alien has about 20 more years before all of it's xeno-morphing scaring. It would be hard to ID exactly where other movies like Astronaut's (Rosemary's Baby) Wife, Species, X-Tro.

Typically, in these movies, one scientist must be perpetually attached to the notion that all aliens must be peaceful to travel through space and humanity must think that they're extremely intellectually superior to the people of Earth. It's a good thing that not all of the man-of-action scientists (Earth Vs the Flying Saucers) and Peter GravesBeginning of the End are also in the re-animated alien-surrogation chambers.

Quotable Dialogue

""
"Why does it have to be killed? Why are we always so quick to destroy? It's an alien. It's the first of its kind to come to the Earth."
"A hypometabolistic state. A type of suspended animation, brought on by the contraction of the mezzentary blood vessels, in the pressure change of landing."
"John, you know what its done to you: breeding its young in your body. You saw what it did to Dr. Wyman. Isn't that reason enough? It has to be killed!"
"Now I am able to speak. By assimilation, a form of photosynthesis, I have been able to incorporate certain of Dr. Wyman's functional processes."

Morals of the Story

Fire extinguishers can easily put out man-carrying rockets.
A corpse keeps its living blood pressure.
Has it ever been good to wait through a night before going for help when stalked by extraterrstrial alien?
All fires should be tested with Geiger counters.
