Plot:

In Berlin Germany, 1945, as the city is being bombed the baroness is giving birth to a girl. Her husband, Baron Von Rhoneberg isn't happy about it.

How well armed one should always be...
He names his daughter and stabs her.

Years later, he's being questioned by a reporter about the Von Rhoneberg family curse. She snoops around the castle and is chased and is killed.

A bus of tourists miss the ferry and have to wait for the next day ferry. They are directed to see if the Baron will let them stay at the castle. The Baron allows them to spend the night. The butler explains which terrible eventa happened in each room.

That night, the Baron tells the story of how his ancestor sold his soul to the devil and the first daughter of each generation becomes a succubus. The butler lets Lisa, a villager stay when her car breaks down.

Most of the guests are calling it for the night. Father Alvin is having hallucinatinations of Lisa. He stops by the castle library. Lisa tells him about the succubus. Later, Lisa meets the tourist guide whom she brings a fresh meal. He overeats and chokes on a meal.

From choking the chicken to...

Makeup specialist. I'm not sure if that's the before or the after...

The succubus finishes off the cranky old geezer by tossing him out a window onto some spikes. Lisa visists the priest again, but he runs off to check on someone who is attacked by a snake. He chants Lisa away.

Lisa reveals she killed the others in mortal sin and will get the priest, too. He runs from the castle and is chased by hooded guy who vows to catch the priest. The priest offers to win the souls of those Lisa killed and signs a contract which burns. Father Alvin awakens in the morning with a terrible nightmare he is sure came from the baron's curse.

Baron starts to die and confesses to Father Alvin how he killed his daughter. Afterwards, the maid reveals to the priest that Lisa was the baron's daughter.

The priest stays at the castle as the rest of the tourists leave. The bus crashes off the road to avoid hitting the hooded guy and the bus explodes.

What I say:

Before the classic 1970s horror movies like Exorcist and Omen, a succubus was in a European castle which would have been almost Se7eN. The classic monsters of Dracula and Frankenstein of Hammer Studio were running out of steam. It was still a few years before the Italian zombies started after the success of George Romero's Dawn of the Dead.

When is staying at a run-down castle ever a good idea? The butler directing everyone through the castle and telling how each room has its own murder is very similar to Elisha Cook Jr. in House on Haunted Hill. The roof with the leaking blood another of the House on Haunted Hill. Well, in that movie, it was more the spooky haunted house than attempt at being serious horror than most European horror did.

A group of tourists have to stay the night at a gothic European castle so murders ensue. In the 1980s, it wouldn't be hard to see something like that with so many horror movies where teens were partying... The hooded guy looks like a lite-Christopher Lee. The priest battles the Devil to save the the rest of the tourists. Yes, get Charlie Daniels with a fiddle...

"Hey, you there about finished?"

Morals of the Story

20-somethings routinely have numerous heart attatcks.
Castle doors regularly close without anyphysical force.
Pigeons are considered weapons.
Old castles are required to have science labs.
Sarcoffoghi are terrible impaling devices.
