Using a character's name who isn't name until farther in the movie before the name is revealed

To alter continuity from what is currently to what it was before. Example, Batman movies, where the previous one was light and the next is darker but is changed again to be ligheter

SACK OF KITTENS COEFFICIENT OF EVIL

This is an indication of how evil the villainous evil overlord is. He is so evil to drown a sack of kittens for fun on a Saturday night.

SONNY CHIBA RULE OF THUMB

If Sonny Chiba is the star in the movie, a thumb will be removed. Actually odds dramatically rise that a body part must be will be removed from the body. Arm, Eye. etc...We don't know if the body part will live long enough to turn evil. see Body Politic Corollary
